Breakfast and Learn Topic: Let's Chat about that Joy!

Description: Have you found that joy seems to be in short supply in recent years? Understandably, joy is not always the first thing we see when we look around. And if we did find this joy, how helpful will that be in walking through the highs and lows of life?
Well, the Bible repeatedly instructs us to be joyful. Joy is one of the fruits of the spirit! Nehemiah advises that the joy of the Lord is our strength. So, joy is not just a feel-good word; it is a Biblical mandate, a representation of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and an instrument of strength
Let's discuss how we can identify joy, nurture joy in our lives, protect our joy, and share the joy with others.
Nehemiah 8:10 " Nehemiah said, Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." (NIV)
Bio: Camille serves as a facilitator with the new member's classes at her church in Pennsylvania, where she has been a member for over 14 years. She thoroughly enjoys helping to usher the new members into the church family and seeing them grow in the Lord. She is an avid fan of theme parks, fiber arts, "glamping," and trying new foods...all of which help bring happiness and joy into her life.

Camille Murray, Philadelphia, PA
Breakfast and Learn Topic; Let's Chat about that Joy!

In 2016 she experienced losing several loved ones and was referred to attend the Griefshare workshops. The Griefshare ministry truly blessed her. Experiencing God's comfort moved her to the point that she was ready to be used by God. She decided to allow God to use her and became a facilitator of the Griefshare program. She has now served as a Griefshare facilitator for the last three years and has seen God do some amazing mental and emotional healing. Those that permit themselves to the process have received a true blessing from God through the Griefshare program.

"One of my favorite parts of the retreat attending the Lunch and Learns on Saturday and Sunday. This past year I was one of the speakers. I loved getting to know those at my table better.
