We ask for your help because Labor Day has helped so many!
We want every single adult to be able to come to our Labor Day retreat and are thankful to the various sponsors of our retreat. Some of our sponsorships come in the way of financial donations, door prizes and silent auction items. All donations are tax-deductible.

The goal of the retreat is two-fold:
Your gifts help us:
• Provide scholarships so those who have limited income to attend the retreat
• Offset ministry expenses specific to the retreat.
WAYS TO GIVE:
- To reach single adults of all ages and backgrounds in Christ for salvation, spiritual growth, encouragement, and support through preaching, teaching, worship, small group discussion, and prayer. To help them connect by building safe and healthy friendships first.
- To reach leaders, potential leaders, and pastors of single adults to help equip, encourage, support, educate, provide resources, and network among other leaders.

You are welcome to sponsor our retreat by donating services such as printing, providing volunteers in our kitchen, TV and radio spots/commercials, door prize items, etc. Please contact our Fundraising Director, Kate Stewart at 919-621-2319 or email us at [email protected].
3. AMAZON WISHLIST (Deadline has now pass, but you can bring a snack to share)
Check out our WISHLIST on our Amazon page where you can purchase an item and have it shipped directly to our ministry. We will be adding more items as we get closer to Labor Day. Note: All purchases are tax-deductible. If you need a receipt, contact our Fundraising Director, Kate Stewart at 919-621-2319 or email us at [email protected].
Also, you can bring a food item with you to the retreat to share (homemade or store bought). Please be sure to only use disposable containers, packaging and utensils. We are not responsible for missing dishes. All items must be delivered by Friday, August 30th, by 5pm to the YAB (Our main meeting space). Contact Mary Lois Woodson, our Hospitality chair at 334-456-1497 if you have any questions.
4. SILENT AUCTION
Bring a basket or other container for our silent auction. Last year we had a garden, sports, kids, kitchen, bath, tool, and much more themed baskets. The sky is the limit. We also accept items for our baskets, including jewelry, gift cards, vacations, art pieces, etc. Please only new items unless collectible.
Order a 2024 T-shirt, Sweatshirt, Long-sleeve T-shirt and more and/or a second one for a friend. You can also order an additional shirt to be used as a door prize or for one of our scholarship applicants. Just let us know!
- Digitally: Donate one time (or monthly) through Square using your credit card. You do not have to have a square account to donate. All funds go through our parent ministry: Kris Swiatocho Ministries and are tax-deductible. We also throughout the year run a Facebook Fundraiser.
- By mail: Mail a check payable to Kris Swiatocho Ministries to 638 Spartanburg Hwy, Suite 70-113, Hendersonville, NC 28792. Please put in the note section that it's for the 2024 Labor Day Retreat Fund.

- If you plan on bringing artwork or something that needs to be hung, please contact Kate at 919-621-2319 or email us at [email protected].
- If you donate items require instruction, please including your name and phone number in the basket.
- All silent auction items must be in a container of some kind (unless approved prior by Kate) and delivered by 5:00pm on Friday, August 30th, to Kate/team. If they do not arrive ready to be put in the auction before 5:00pm, they will be used as door prizes or saved for the following year. Note: Be mindful of donation items that require the bidder to live in your area only.
- You are welcome to purchase items on Amazon or another online retail store and ship to us. We can then put the basket together for you. You are also welcome to donate financially towards a basket.
